Crop lifter

Crop lifters have a long tradition at Schumacher. The first crop lifter, that Gustav Schumacher developed, represented the beginning of a successful engagement for headers and the founding of the Schumacher enterprise. Today, crop lifters are essential in the harvest of different crops such as cereal and soybean.

Planetary high-performance knife drive

The Pro-Drive planetary drives generate an absolutely linear stroke length. Force progression and knife movement are just as linear. The driving force available is fully converted to lifting force, which especially under difficult harvesting conditions preserves the power of the cutting system.

The vertical and horizontal versions offer high flexibility in terms of drive concepts.

      • For composite or matched belts
      • Diameters: 180, 190, 200, 213, 218, 220,
      • 230 and 240 mmPower v-belts
      • Types: Equipped with additional gyrating mass, attachment panels
  2. Planetary drive, horizontal version
    • Pro-Drive vertical drive
      • The Pro-Drive vertical version works with an integrated 90° angular gearbox
      • The driving force is transferred from the vertical to the horizontal direction
      • The connection to the combine harvester is performed via the v-belt
      • Stroke 84.6 mm

Straw chopper knife

A straw chopper knife is subject to particular wear at the outer blade edges. In this area, the sharp cutting edges are subject to particular wear and tend to round off. With hardcover knives, one side of the blade is hardened to a greater extent than the other (beaver tooth effect). A sharp edge remains, where the soft material is subject to wear.
