Bobcat Wins Two EquipmentWatch Awards for Highest Retained Value

The company takes home wins for the sixth year in a row; construction industry insights provider recognizes Bobcat Compact Track Loaders and Small Skid Steer Loaders in 2021.

Bobcat Company announced it has received two EquipmentWatch 2021 Highest Retained Value Awards for Compact Track Loaders and Small Skid Steer Loaders. These are the only awards in the industry that leverage third-party, unbiased data to identify equipment that is projected to best hold its value or offer the lowest cost of ownership over the next five years. This is the sixth consecutive year that Bobcat has won an EquipmentWatch Highest Retained Value Award.

“We are honored that our industry-leading equipment is once again recognized for incredible durability, longevity, and reliability, providing operators with unparalleled uptime. Once you own a Bobcat machine, there will be no going back. These awards are a testament to our commitment to customers, and recognition of the significant work hours and value owners receive from their trusted Bobcat equipment,”

says Sarah Peckskamp, product marketing manager – loaders for Doosan Bobcat.

The EquipmentWatch awards are based on an extensive analysis of data records, which determines residual values calculated according to market depreciation standards. The Highest Retained Value winners represent product class categories within equipment types projected to retain the highest percentage of original value after a five-year period.

Using the Fair Market and Forced Liquidation Values contained in the EquipmentWatch Values product, analysts examine year-over-year depreciation for more than 12,000 models with up to 30 model years of values. Using a proprietary algorithm, the team is able to predict residual values up to 84 months into the future.

Winners were announced at a recent press conference during the World of Concrete 2021 trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
